Are manual torque wrenches accurate?

When used properly, manual torque wrenches can be one of the most accurate methods of torque.

How accurate are click torque wrenches?

Click style wrenches are typically in the +/- 4-6% accuracy range.

Can I use a regular wrench instead of a torque wrench?

It all depends on your job requirment, but when it is required to have a verified torque load applied it is always recommended to use a calibrated torque wrench.
