Mining can be strenuous physical labor. For this reason, our tools were created to be ergonomically friendly. Previously, the mining industry relied on large impact wrenches that caused wear and tear not only on the tool itself but on the users’ bodies and wrists. With RAD wrenches, there is NO IMPACT, the user just sets each tool to a specific torque to achieve +/-5% accuracy.

When it comes to the mining industry, haul trucks are RAD’s specialty. In addition to replacing tires, we also supply strut kits for the Caterpillar 797 and the Komatsu 980 as well as tools for engine barring, tie rod bolts for haul truck suspensions and wrenches for track pads, final drive segments, cutting blades, mill liners and wheel nuts.
